Not so boring Saturday night

Well, I decided to quit trying to fix the plumbing (which I have no idea whats wrong with it) and get dressed and treat myself to a night out. So I did the make up and nice clothes and curl my hair thing and headed out. 


First stop, ATM for some cash. I hate using my card when I'm out. 


Second stop, I decided to hit the "Night Out in Old Fredericksburg". It was definitely a lively place to be, it seemed that 90% of the town was there. It was full of refreshments, and booths selling shirts, jewelry, etc and live music and dancing. I wandered around for awhile, but I finally decided that it really would have been alot more fun with my family. So I wandered back to my car and headed farther into town. 


I decided to try Crossroads Saloon & Steakhouse. Went inside, got a drink and a table and an amazing band (the Casey Hubble Band) was playing. They were very entertaining and I couldn't tear myself away. The bar filled up and everyone there seemed to enjoy them. I hope that I can catch them again.


Finally, I was tired and wanting a shower, so I headed home which is where I am now, worrying about the plumbing again...

Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon...

Well it definitely feels more like a Monday than a Saturday afternoon... I hate plumbing problems, and of course I'm alone for awhile so I have to fix them myself. Needless to say, its not getting fixed and I have no idea what to do about it and no money to call a plumber... So frustrating... Also, its Saturday afternoon... I should be out and doing something fun, instead I'm stuck here, googling plumbing solutions and blogging about it... Okay, enough complaining...

I don't actually mind the being alone so much. Its pretty peaceful and I can do whatever I want without  worrying about anyone else for a change. That means if I want to get up at noon, drink coffee, and blog and read for two hours, no one is gonna say that I can't. So I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying that. 

I've also been blogging on reviewing the food places in town and that's kept me pretty entertained. I also started a twitter account and am following alot of the local businesses so that has been very interesting.

I'm eating in tonight, so I am going to try a new recipe. Hope it turns out pretty good! Also I'm considering going to the Night Out in Old Fredericksburg tonight, so I guess we shall see how that turns out.
